Ida Fogh Kiberg

I am a professional stage director, caster, production manager, librettist and - now - also an agent/booking agent.

I started studying to be an opera singer when I was young, but instead, I fell in love with directing and producing musical drama. I became very fascinated by the art of casting singers and creating performances from scratch, and after a bachelor's degree in Theater and Performance Studies at the University of Copenhagen and many years of work experience at opera houses in London, New York and in Denmark, and after several years of directing operas, I became artistic director at The Funen Opera in Odense, where I have been responsible for casting and planning all performances for three years.

Until now.

I didn't have time for what I wanted, while I was artistic director. As a freelance stage director and librettist, I finally have time for a small agency for singers, where I will use my network and my ear to find new talents and help them on their way. I can help with outreach and with the many emails and networking that is part of selling yourself as an artist, so that you as a singer can concentrate on your art and your development within your "Fach".

I want to limit my amount of clients, so that I have time for each of my singers and their individual needs and not drown in clients.
